From the day of booking our holiday, our actual holiday and return home we have been given excellent service throughout from Wendy Wu Tours. Our tour representative, Alice, was wonderful. She was very informative and was always a pleasure to be with. The whole tour was brilliant - we saw everything that we wanted to see and more. We would definitely recommend Wendy Wu Tours to all our family and friends. Thank you very much.

Our trip to Hong Kong was brilliant. Wendy Wu Tours had arranged a half day tour to Hong Kong Island. This was excellent. We were taken to all the memorable places and able to walk around and take photos. Overall experience of the whole holiday - excellent.

Not happy with the service from the hotel over an Amazon Kindle we left in our room on departure. They found it but just put all sorts of obstacles in the way of getting it to us in Shanghai - even though we told them we would meet all the costs of getting it to us.

Our National guide and local guides were brilliant, both knowledgeable & patient. Everything you could think of they were ready to help with. I would like to say that there was a highlight of our tour, however every day brought highlights.

Excellent tour of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 the guide was great fun, showing us everything from a jewellery factory to Stanley Market. We are looking forward to going back. The hotel was very good, they could not do enough to help us.

My husband and I had a fantastic holiday in China and Hong Kong, The tours we had in all three destinations were interesting and informative and our tour guides were always helpful. We both have slight walking difficulties and our guides responded by assisting us in any way they could. The only minor problems were trying to find something for me to eat (I found the food too spicy and very oily) and sleeping on the extremely hard beds.

Hotel very good location & staff helpful, but rooms very compact and breakfast service which was included was effectively a croissant in the basement coffee shop! we paid the upgrade of $10 HKD pp to sit in a better environment and have choice of breakfast - it would be nice to know the options in advance

Further info particularly on local restaurants, things to do would have been helpful - luckily we'd researched in advance and this helped us maximise the 3 nights we were there. No mention, for example, of the wonderful local park and lido. Our half day orientation tour was an essential, and the guide great

Although the hotel was a good walk from the waterfront, we had a nice room, good dinner and breakfasts. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
It was a nice start to our trip to China

The tour was fabulous, there was so much packed into the tour. We saw so many wonderful sights including the Terracotta Army and The Great Wall of China - stunning. The guides were very knowledgeable and looked after us so well. A tour I would horoughly recommend with Wendy Wu.

I have not rated this as until the second two guides didn't realise how poor first guide was luckily my partner is a seasoned traveller who doesn't require guides. The second two guides were excellent xian and Beijing , Hong Kong just an airport meet. Hotels mediocre service standard poor best service Hong Kong by far. Didn't enjoy guide selected restaurants as would have rather chosen own places to eat

We spicifcally requested time to see the Chinese New Year celebrations we were advised to go at the start! Each guide informed us that the Chinese New Year is celebrated at the end of the lunar cycle not the start that is time for family bitterly disappointed neither the travel agent or Wendy wu advised correctly. New year celebrations in Wendy wu brochure did not match our experience either. Being place in business hotels means you are far away from city centres not convienent at all for travelling. Interlink flights good 2 out of 3 guides very good would advise underground train travel as being more efficient as lots of time was wasted sitting in traffic jams and when not with guide used underground even 2 and from airport Shanghai 1+ hour tube -30 minutes. Didn't enjoy the being taken to see how this and that is made as you are then followed around and sold to. Xian and Beijing guides excellent on advice and care taken of us. Hong Kong off loaded by guide ASAP with a sticker stuck on you and told to wait wasted time travelling by bus again ! Didn't take tour next morning as didn't want to be rushed around on someone else's timeframe hotel not actually in Hong Kong but on Kowloon so misleading

National guide was excellent, local guides were good mostly, Beijing Guide was like a robot, just repeating his information, not much inter-action with the group where others had. The tour is long & can be tiring (especially sitting on a coach) The evening shows which were mainly an addition to our itinerary, they were amateurish & not worth the money. As were the visits to pearl farm, silk factory, jade outlet, tea plantation.. little or no information about the product, more about getting you into the shop & getting your money spent on their products. To many visits to the markets.....seemed like the guide is having to take you to these places to bolster the national economy! 1 or 2 visits would have been acceptable....4 or 5......No!! They sell cheap rubbish....made in Asia! The food & hotels were all good, the country is very clean & you felt safe & secure where ever we went! All in all, a good experience, covering a vast area, but in doing so we compromised on Quality to get the quantity! We went to see the culture.....not the shops & rubbish they sold! Poor quality infill between the major attractions, maybe you should consider, some rural visits & more about the culture/real Chinese life style. That was the thought of ALL on our tour. Its wrong that I'm reporting the things I didn't like rather than the amazing things, places that were on offer!! That tells me.......you need to adjust, work on this tour Itinerary!

HK a buzzing City, a short & to the point tour & left to our devises......a great start & full of enthusiasm at the start of our holiday......shame China was infilled with too much Low Quality (read above)........maybe China's not as 'open' as they like you to think!!?

Mealtimes were a little rushed and our Hong Kong experience was for some reason cut short by several hours, compared to others. Otherwise, very enjoyable.
